Mark Twain was also photographed in colour by Alvin Langdon Coburn using the newly created Autochrome system.

How spooky and lovely. Do we know when in 1909 it was made? Jean died on Christmas Eve that same year. I wonder if Twain watched the film later, or couldn’t bear to.
Too bad they could not put Mark Twain’s voice on there yet. It would have been interesting to here what he was saying.
