This excellent amateur colour film was shot by Lieutenant Sidney Sasson, US Army Signal Corps, Army Pictorial Service. It is drawn from the Imperial War Museum’s Archive.

of note: people walking about holding hands, linked arms, which is very sweet – You dont see that too much these days. Also overall – people seem to be quite fit compared to images of ordinary people lately.
