The Retronaut is on holiday for two weeks. During this time, we are showing a series of Soundies*.
…..
*Soundies were an early version of the music video: three-minute musical films, produced in New York, Chicago, and Hollywood between 1940 and 1946, often including short dance sequences. The films were displayed on the Panoram, a coin-operated film jukebox or machine music, in nightclubs, bars, restaurants, factory lounges, and amusement centers.
Thank you very much to Simon Parr and Rex.

Right. Just a little jive. In a minute you’ll start relaxing, but take it slow and let it glow. Just sit back and let the jive take hold.
I love the subversiveness. It’s way better than modern day cannabis culture. Classy, that’s what it is.
ROFLMAO! The one with the bandaged foot is pretty spry. Not to mention the one in the wheelchair on the end… ;-D
She’s a pretty little thing. Can’t hardly sing, but she’s cute as hell.
