Hi Brad, do you mean who colourized them? If so, the answer is “no-one”, these are Kodachrome colour photographs.
We really had our act together as a country back then. Truly, the greatest generation.
Sigh… I miss Kodachrome.
Am I the only one who had to look twice at the first picture and make sure her head wasn’t disconnected from her body?
Is the flag-raising slide’s image reversed? – in it the WAVES are saluting with their left hands.
God, if I only had a time machine….
Such diversity of jobs! And all the enlisted sailors said about them was “Ride the WAVES!” I suppose military men were threatened by a strong independent woman who can do the same work as them the same way they are today.
