I feel a strong affinity with this work which I can’t explain.
The UK First Edition goes for $6,000, the US one (Abbeville Press) for over $600. A truly bizarre book. There was also a poster for the US edition, illustrating how the pair of lovers turn into a crocodile and crawl off the bed.
sort of a bizarre mix of Dali and Di Vinci. Love it!
