  Two recognizable 1964 artifacts:

  -A copy of “Meet the Beatles” on diplay in the record department;

  -”This Is Eric Sevareid,” the CBS News commentator’s autobiography, in the books department.

  We have now been away from Lincoln since 1964 but I still happily recall my many years
  there. I loved shopping at Miller and Paine and still wear a coat with their label.

  To Teri Jan 28, 2012, regarding gentlman who cut and styled hair at Gateway Salon. Some of us remember a man named Angelo Piccolo. His wife also worked at M&P (downtown store we think)
