Thank you to Vintage Everyday
What great photos of circus stars from the age of canvas.
I saw Lottie and her husband warming up for their act behind the back door curtain at the Shrine circus in Green Bay Wis. Must of been in the early 70′s. They were warming up by juggling seven (yes 7!) rings under a stairway! Amazing!
Great performers of a great era. Patches the clown
These are so awesome! Thanks to Sheigh over at chime.in for bringing us here. I have to share this site on our facebook page for our followers, it’s the first we’ve been here. We sell vintage clothes, you can like us at http://www.monkeysuitvintage.com.
I rarely see photo shots of 50s gals, and never have seen circus ones. Thanks for posting.
I’m very curious if all of these people in the photos stayed in the circus for their whole lives, or if they left and settled down in the suburbs.
great photos as usual. Thanks!
