‘A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene consisting of the outline and a basically featureless interior, with the silhouetted object usually being black. Although the art form has been popular since the mid-18th century, the term “silhouette” was seldom used until the early decades of the 19th century.’

Thank you to Olly Moss

Need a silhouette? Why not Zoidberg?
For a second I thought Captain Jack Sparrow was Axle Rose, ha!
Love these! Keep coming back to look.
I’m not gonna deny it, I’m going to save a bunch of these images and probably wind up using them as avatar pictures for Twitter & various forums. I hope the artist is cool with that ’cause I probably won’t be the only one.

I had to laugh at the “Hellboy” one–what else WOULD you use, but a red background….. LOL!!!
@Kaitlyn I think that’s supposed to be Darth Maul not Hellboy. He has small horns and a patterned face, unlike hellboy who has big horns (or ground off stumps) and not as much patterning.
Does anyone know what the first silhouette is?
Jon, my namesake, it’s a Dalek; from the British TV series Dr. Who.
