‘Soul Train’ Lines, 1970s

‘Soul Train’ was an American musical show that aired from October 1971. In its 35-year history, the show primarily featured performances by R&B, soul, and hip hop artists.  In each show, during the “Soul Train Line”, all the show’s dancers formed two lines with a space in the middle for dancers to strut down and dance in consecutively.’

You can NOT get more fly than Soul Train!! I grew up with it, I loved it, I still love it. I would wait for cartoons to end on Saturdays, so that at 11am, Soul Train would start. Man, that was a good show!! I remember just being in awe at the fly moves so many people could make and trying to recreate those moves on our Flokati rug in the family room. SOOOOUUULLLL TTTRRRAAAIIIINNN!!
