Wonderful wonderful wonderful!
Does anyone know how to make such photographs? I mean, the ‘painting with light’ requires a long shuttertime, but that means the painter will be very blurry (which isn’t the case with these photographs).
Dirk, judging by the way it looks, I’d say he was hit once with a low-power flash at the end of the exposure, so that he was illuminated (and frozen) without blowing out the image completely.
Alex must be right, see the dark room shot, flash doesn’t light up much there. Also in room with lots of light from window you can see painter twice, once at start pose (maybe was standing for a while though)and at end
That sounds quite right, thank you very much! I will experiment with it untill I find the right settings on my old ’70s Canon!
