After this capsule was first published, Richard Alme contacted Retronaut:
‘My grandfather, Richard Evanson, took some photos in 1933. He’s on the far left in the first picture, aged 17 or 18. He and his friends stopped to work on Rushmore for a while to help finance a trip to Yellowstone Park. He never mentioned it; we found these pictures after he passed away.’
