I’m surprised to see the cost for the meals. Sine they are governmental bigwigs I’m amazed that they had to pay anything for their meals, let alone how expensive [for 1964] the meals actually were.
@old hippie….I was wondering how expensive it was, according to the prices of the time. So, if this is expensive, what would an “average” meal out cost (say burger and fries)? Just curious…

In 1964 a WhiteCastle hamburger was 12¢. McDonald’s was 15¢. So 30¢ for 2 burgers, another 15¢ for an order of fries, and a dime for a softdrink.
