he doesnt look like the sporty type
Actually he was very sporty, but his Mother didn’t like him to play football in case he got hurt. He was hurt on one occasion, when he broke his little finger. I know this for a fact, because he used to leave Graceland via the back fence, through a neighbours garden, where his mates used to pick him up, to go off to play their game, but once he didn’t return as was usual, as I was told this by the said neighbour, and had to attend the hospital to get the finger strapped up. On one of my visits to Memphis, and Graceland I was invited in to the neighbours house and was told this story. And in case you don’t know, he has a squash court where he played the game often. The court is in use now to display his many trophies and awards, along with quite a few of his jumpsuits. Also don’t forget he was a brilliant horseman, and owned several horses.
