Love #20′s hi tech jack stand.
I suspect the photo of the flight demonstration team maneuver is upside-down. The USAF Thunderbirds and I believe the Canadian Forces Snowbirds both do a similar maneuver in which several aircraft climb as a group, smoke on, before rolling out in different directions. A solo aircraft climbs straight up as the group disperses. The Thunderbirds maneuver is called a “High Bomb Burst”. See photos at http://afthunderbirds.com/site/2012/01/04/maneuver-photo-gallery/ Love this site – always something interesting.
1 Pound fee!!
I only wish the tickets cost 1 pound. I’ve been twice in the last 5 years and it’s far from a pound now. As for the British Arrow’s shot, that is the maneuver. Just saw them this year at Goodwood and have the same shot in the photo album.
The photo you’re referring to MattF is not upside down.
This is a manouvre that the RED ARROWS do particularly well as the hurtle to the ground at 400mph !!!
