Whoever dreamed this up was most surely a Nancy Boy with far too much sugar in his britches.

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.

So true. I look at some of the outfits I wore in the late 80′s early 90′s and they are no less hideous than this artist imagined.

It’s fascinating that artists’ could not imagine much past redecorating a clown outfit over the years.

1978 wasn’t far off, lol. And the silhouette of the skirts in 1932 are really similar to the tiered skirts that came out about 10 years later.

The 70′s ones are very Beatles. :) Well played.

the 198 skirt is VERY acurate. It looks just like a 80s prom dress.

It’s as if he expected us to go through the 20th century as a Grand Opera.

Obviously, they couldn’t imagine a woman wearing a bifurcated garment. That would be stuff like pants and shorts for those who don’t know. It was probably considered inconceivable for women to wear bifurcated clothing. I mean what next? Women straddling a horse when they ride it? Next thing you know, they may even be entering into sporting competitions. OMG! The horrors!

Although, it looks like they had one man in an unbifurcated something or other, 1936, 37, and 60. Why don’t more men wear kilts?
