Stunning. Is that a hotel above that ravine? If it still exists, I’d love to stay there!
Diana: I believe it’s the Stalheim Hotel in pic 8, which is indeed still open. http://english.stalheim.dnn.gasta.no/
I’ve investigated a little and found out that it says Stalheim Hotel Nærodalen (Nærøydalen). Sadly this hotel built ca. 1900 does no longer exist. Already in 1902 this beautiful manmade object perished in a fire. Now there’s a rather dreadful building there
The view is still magnificent though.

The hotel building doesn’t exist anymore, but there is still hotel at this location.
