That is not Motocross. The scenery, narrow trails, and lack of barriers to the spectators indicate Enduro competition. Also, the taped headlight and the last photograph showing a timing, or check-in bench, both are typical for Enduros. I’m an American Enduro rider from that era and it all looks very familiar. I also rode a KTM (and a few Husqvarnas). Great pictures!

Riders are sent off individually at timed intervals and have to keep to an average speed across the sections .
They will also have a odometer and a stop watch .
Bikes have lights and are road legal as they have to travel down normal roads unlike motocross which is closed course.
I love the simplicity of the old KTMs and Huskys .
