    While I didn’t serve in the Navy, I never had ANY complaints about the chow. I always heard that the Navy had the best on their ships (especially on the subs), but I was happy to have the chow I got(I hope that is proper English!). I was USAF through the ’90s, but the majority of chow I ate was in Army mess halls, and it was fantastic (even compared to Mom’s cooking)!
